Soy & Honey Glazed Chicken Thighs

One of the most common misconceptions when it comes to cooking is that more equals better. More flavor or more ingredients in a dish is somehow going to equal a better final product. I’m here to tell you that this is just not true. If I have learned anything over my many years of home cooking, it’s that more does not equal better. Today I'm going to showcase that concept by sharing one of my favorite recipes: Soy Garlic Chicken Thighs.
One of my most popular recipes of all time on the channel is chicken teriyaki which makes sense because chicken teriyaki is the best. However, my soy garlic chicken thighs is a simplified five ingredient version of that but it is still incredibly delicious and comes together much faster.
The sauce only consists of three ingredients, freshly minced garlic, honey, and soy sauce. While reducing the sauce down into a sticky saucy glossy teriyaki replica, the chicken gets tossed back into the pan to finish cooking. I serve everything over some freshly made white rice and some broccoli! Made in just a few minutes, you have a balance sweet and savory broccoli and garlic chicken dish.
